Southwest Healthcare Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH) reinforced its dedication to community health
and safety through the recent donation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Michelle’s Place
Cancer Resource Center. This initiative exemplifies the hospital’s ongoing commitment to educating the
community in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), empowering individuals to respond effectively to
emergencies and potentially save lives.
In conjunction with the AED donation, Temecula Valley Hospital’s Cardiac Program Manager, Katie
Baca, MSN, RN, PHN, provided comprehensive hands-only CPR and AED training to the staff at
Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center. This training equips them with the necessary skills and
confidence to administer life-saving interventions in critical situations.
