As most of us know, Southwest Riverside County is a bustling, fast-growing, family-oriented community. For years people from all over Southern California have transplanted their roots here in the Valley for the possibility of a better life within a community that offers so much, especially for a growing family. You see young children everywhere you go – parks, schools, churches, recreation centers, the mall, you name it! It’s reflective of just how many parents are still opting to have growing families. Case in point, Rancho Springs Medical Center Women’s Center in Murrieta.
The birthing center at Rancho Springs boasts an average of nearly 300 births a month. That’s roughly 3,600 newborns delivered on an average year. Keeping mom’s happy is what it’s all about and Rancho Springs does just that. As part of their post-birth celebration at Rancho Springs Medical Center and to show how thrilled they are that they are able to be a part of such a special occasion, the hospital is now serving “Nothing Bundt Cakes” to their new moms in the Women’s Center. “It’s a sweet experience when a little one comes into the world,” says Brian Connors, Director of Marketing for the hospital, “So we want to give a little something sweet back to the moms from us and we think this hits the mark. It’s evident by how everyone just loves the treat.”
Rancho Springs features the largest birthing center in the region with Rady Children’s NICU (Neonatal Services recently ranked 5th in the nation according to US World and News Report), and the only OB Emergency Department in the region. Rancho Springs also offers the only birthing center with 24/7 on-site OB physician services.
