Michelle’s Place Breast Cancer Resource Center is thrilled to introduce Qigong energy healing services from Jan Tucker, a level 5 Qigong practitioner, to promote health and wellness to clients dealing with cancer treatment.
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) and translated as working with your vital energy, is a 5,000-year-old Chinese energy healing methodology. Three main Qigong practices are movement practice, which looks similar to Tai Chi; individual healing sessions; and Qigong techniques, used to activate the body’s energy points. Tucker studies Qigong with International Qigong Master Chunyi Lin, founder of Spring Forest Qigong. She began her studies to strengthen her immune system and prevent recurring bouts of bronchitis, allergies, eczema, and digestive issues. Recognizing the power and holistic health benefits of Qigong, she now offers these benefits to others.
“We are so excited to have Jan offer Qigong in the Center,” said Melissa Rada, program manager for Michelle’s Place. “This is a huge benefit to our clients and will be instrumental in their healing process.”
Qigong offers benefits that enable healing of the body, mind and emotions. Along with all other services offered at Michelle’s Place, Qigong is provided free by appointment only.
