Triple Negative Breast Cancer Seminar

Michelle’s Place will be hosting a free education seminar on Thursday, July 23rd at 6:30 p.m. Lori Flowers with Triple Step Toward the Cure will talk about the importance of clinical trials, updates and resources for women going through triple negative breast cancer.

Triple negative breast cancer is a sub-type of breast cancer that lacks the three important receptors that are used as targets for cancer treatment.  These receptors are important to the treatment of cancer because they reveal where the cancer is most vulnerable and how to best treat it. Triple negative breast cancer is more difficult to treat, more likely to recur, and can occur in women of any age, race, or ethnicity.

Triple Step Toward the Cure was founded by three California women whose lives have been personally affected by triple negative breast cancer. Michelle’s Place is a breast cancer resource center.  For more information, visit www.michellesplace.org or call 951-699-5455. Michelle’s Place is located at 27645 Jefferson Ave. #117 in Temecula.
