Southwest Healthcare System was awarded the 2013 Signature Business of the Year during the EDC of Southwest California’s Annual Signature Awards Presentation held at Temecula Creek Inn on Wednesday, February 12th. This award recognizes the hospital for its positive economic impact and successful alignment of fostering strategic business relationships within the region. Southwest Healthcare System operates both Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar and Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta.
Southwest Healthcare is one of the leading employers in Southwest Riverside County and partners with a wide variety of local and regional businesses. When the hospital system looks to develop a healthcare related event, a strategic business relationship, or to work with institutions of higher learning, they focus on local or regional businesses so that the hospital, business, and our communities, reap the rewards of people helping people and business helping business.
“It is an honor to receive this award and more importantly it is with gratitude that we serve alongside the business community enhancing our already vibrant and thriving communities,” stated Brad Neet, Chief Executive Officer.
Inland Valley Medical Center is the only hospital in the region to offer Level II Trauma Services and is a nationally recognized center for weight-loss surgery by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
Rancho Springs Medical Center features the largest Women’s Center in the region which includes the only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Southwest Riverside County and the da Vinci © Robotic Surgical System performing the region’s only virtually no-scar single site procedures.
