Two Educational Seminars to be Held at Michelle’s Place in July

Cancer and the Law – Michelle’s Place is hosting a free educational seminar about your rights as a cancer patient. The Cancer Legal Resource Center will be discussing legal issues including employment rights, work leave, insurance appeals, estate planning and access to government benefits. These issues can cause cancer patients unnecessary stress and can be overwhelming.

Although it shouldn’t take legal resources to access health care, understand insurance options or keep your job, it can. Join us at Michelle’s Place on July 15 at 7pm to learn more about your rights when diagnosed with cancer.

Triple Negative – Michelle’s Place is also hosting Triple Step Toward the Cure, a non-profit organization focused on educating the community about triple negative breast cancer. Triple negative breast cancer is a subtype of breast cancer that lacks the three important receptors that are used as targets for cancer treatment. These receptors are important to the treatment of cancer because they reveal where the cancer is most vulnerable and how to best treat it. Triple negative breast cancer is more difficult to treat and more likely to recur. Triple negative breast cancer can occur in women of any age, race, or ethnicity.

This seminar will talk about the importance of clinical trials, updates and resources for women going through triple negative breast cancer. Join us at Michelle’s Place on July 22 at 7pm to learn more about triple negative.

Michelle’s Place is located at 27645 Jefferson Ave. #117, Temecula 92590. Please RSVP to Michelle’s Place at 951-699-5455. These seminars are free and light refreshments will be served. For more information, please visit www.michellesplace.org
