Temecula Valley Hospital Celebrates 1st Anniversary

Temecula Valley Hospital has a great deal to celebrate marking its first year of operation. On October 14th, 2013 TVH welcomed its first patients. It was not long before the community started sharing its excitement that the new hospital was finally opening. As staff and insurance carriers joined through the end of 2013, the hospital started showing what it was made of.

Starting in 2014, Temecula Valley Hospital hosted a series of California Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminars for physicians. Diverse topics included: “Current Approach and Outcomes of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgical Procedures” in January; “Heart Failure 2014: Challenges and New Opportunities” in April; “Neurovascular Surgery in the Comprehensive Stroke Era: Challenges and Opportunities” in July; and “TAVR: Appropriate Patient Selection” in October. Education of physicians and the community is an important component of ensuring the success of the hospital.

TVH remains dedicated to providing services and resources to the surrounding community, so in September the hospital partnered with the City of Temecula’s 4th Annual Community Health and Resource Fair. Health screenings, hospital department services information, nutrition information, and physician presentations on relevant topics were facilitated by the hospital. Close to 1000 people attended the event.

Temecula Valley Hospital will continue to work toward providing the best of patient-centered, family-sensitive care with compassion, trust, courage, and innovation not just this year, but for years to come!

The Hospital will also be hosting another Blood Drive for the American Red Cross on Friday, November 14, 2014, 12 noon to 6:15 p.m. at the hospital. Mark your calendar to donate blood!

Don’t forget to join us for our Community Education Series with these fine physicians:
