Cripe joins Inland Empire Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®

The Inland Empire Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is pleased to announce that Bruce Cripe has joined the Inland Empire Affiliate team. A long-time volunteer for the Komen Inland Empire Affiliate, he has served on the board of directors and race operations for the past 14 years. Due to his dedication, he received the Komen Cameo Award for National Volunteer of the Year for the Inland Empire in 2005.

Bruce, a 15 year Rotarian, was the President of the Rotary Club of Temecula (2003-04) and served on the District level as Assistant Governor, Membership and Community Service Chair and gave his time to many local Rotary events.

Cripe also has 26 years of service (active and reserve) to our country and is retired from the U.S. Marine Corp as a Major. Additionally, he has served in many capacities for numerous non-profits in the Inland Empire impacting the community for the greater good. He has been honored for his dedication to making a difference in the Rotary Club of Temecula receiving the ‘Humanitarian of the Year’ Award in 2006, the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce ‘Citizen of the Year’ Award and ‘Veterans of Temecula Valley Good Samaritan’ Award and Community Service Award.

Bruce has an AA Degree in Business Administration and a BS Degree in Criminal Justice and is married to Rita, an 8 year breast cancer survivor.
