The Southwest Healthcare System Auxiliary generously donated $25,000 from their annual charity golf tournament to the creation of a new Life Sciences Exhibit at the Temecula Children’s Museum to be installed late in 2013. Annette Brown, the President of Friends of the Temecula Children’s Museum proudly accepted the donation from Ginny Ince, Director of Volunteer Services for The Southwest Healthcare System (SWHS) Auxiliary.

The Life Sciences Exhibit will feature a lighted table with magnifiers, an x-ray light box and a skeletal human model along with other biological experiments and lab models. Brian Connors and Kay Harrison, also from Southwest Healthcare System, attended the check presentation. Brian Connors mentioned to the group that The Southwest Healthcare System Auxiliary was honored to provide financial support for the ongoing education and instruction the Life Sciences Exhibit will provide the students, families and visitors of Temecula Valley.
Also in attendance were Aaron Adams Temecula’s interim City Manager, Christine Damko, Economic Development Analyst for Temecula, Alice Sullivan, CEO of Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce and Jami McNees Temecula Children’s Museum Ambassador.
