The City of Temecula, in cooperation with the Roripaugh family foundation and Friends of the Temecula Libraries, will be providing a very important seminar entitled “Early Identification and Intervention: Best Practices in Autism Spectrum Disorders.” Event will feature respected specialist Dr. Christina Corsello, Clinical Director of the Autism Discovery Institute at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. In addition, seminar will include insight from board-certified Behavioral Analyst from Rady Children’s Hospital Angela Patricelli, M.A., BCBA.
City of Temecula Mayor Pro Tem Mike Naggar, who is father to an autistic child, stated, “As a father, there is no greater advice I could provide then identifying the early signs associated with the autism spectrum. This seminar and these clinical professionals will provide great insight for parents and caregivers.” Mr. Naggar further stated, “early detection made all the difference in my son’s life.”
This Special Needs Program will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 6pm-8pm at the Temecula Public Library located at 30600 Pauba Road. There is no charge to attend.
