TVH Spreading a Wealth of Health

temeculaTemecula Valley Hospital (TVH) takes its responsibility to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care seriously. Part of that care is to make sure our community has the tools it needs to live a healthy life. The healthier you are before visiting the emergency room or being admitted to the hospital, the better your outcomes. TVH has initiated two outstanding community education programs to help us achieve this goal.

Medical Gold Minds Community Education Seminars are held the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Operations Center on the second floor of the hospital. The seminars highlight area physicians speaking on topics within their specialty. Past topics have included incontinence, diabetes, heart disease, and dementia. Upcoming topics will touch upon aging gracefully, lung cancer and rotator cuff tears. These informative presentations last about an hour with plenty of time for questions and answers. No reservations are required and light refreshments are served. Do something for yourself and check it out.

Educational health information podcasts are now available for listening or download on the hospital website www.temeculavalleyhospital.com/health-information/podcasts. These informative presentations are a quick way to hear from great resources on topics of interest to us all. For instance, “The Role of the Anesthesiologist” can remove much of the anxiety associated with surgery. Other topics include Palliative Care, common sports injury, cardiovascular disease, varicose veins and many more. New podcasts are added routinely, so it pays to check these out occasionally.

Information is power, and the power to maintain a healthy lifestyle is in your hands. Temecula Valley Hospital encourages you to use all the tools available to you to achieve your goals and stay healthy!
