The firm focusses on civil litigation, including the areas of real estate, business, employment, appellate and probate litigation, together with estate planning, bankruptcy representation, contracts and immigration.

Ms. Engel joined Reid & Hellyer, APC in February 2018.  As a first generation American and the child of immigrants, the importance of hard work was instilled in Ms. Engel at a very young age. Ms. Engel handles legal challenges in all types of real estate and business disputes with dedication and tenacity. Her practice includes distinct subjects such as leasehold rights on local Tribal lands. In addition to litigation, Ms. Engel advises various for profit businesses and non-profit organizations as their primary legal counsel. Prior to joining the Reid & Hellyer team, Ms. Engel received her initial legal training locally working first as a legal secretary, then paralegal, law clerk, and eventually as an associate attorney.

Reid & Hellyer’s President, Michael G. Kerbs, in announcing Ms. Engel’s promotion to shareholder, stated: “Kiki was named a shareholder because of her exceptional balance of work ethic and talent. The unanimous vote of the existing shareholders in the firm only confirmed what I have seen in Ms. Engel. Her professional level of lawyering remains consistent with that of the legacy trial lawyers who have practiced in this County at Reid & Hellyer.”
