Executive Profile | Becky Young

Fleet Manager/Community Relations, Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac

Hi there! I’m Becky Young, a daughter, sister, mom, grandma, girlfriend, friend and a saleswoman.  I’m proud to say I’ve been part of the Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac family for nearly 25 years and have worked for General Motors for over 44 years.

I first began my career with Chevy as co-owner of two small town Chevrolet dealerships, in Utah.  Now I am the Fleet Manager and Community Relations representative at Paradise, I get to combine my passion for cars with my love for people—what could be better? In today’s job market, loyalty is hard to come by but mine comes from a true passion for what I’ve done over the past years and what I will continue to do in the future. I truly enjoy my job and getting to know my customers.

When I started in the car business in 1980, I made a commitment to make it my career, not just a job, until something better came along. Then I started meeting the customers, who soon became my friends, and that’s when I really started loving my job.

I’m not only passionate about my position as Fleet Manager for Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac, but I love being involved in the community, that is where my role as the Community Relations representative comes in. Whatever I do at work, in the community or with my family, I have a sense of passion behind it. I contribute my success to my commitment for the things I believe in. I can sell anything; however, it is much easier and fun to sell what I believe in, and I believe in the Chevrolet and Cadillac products, and I believe in the dealership I work for.

I moved to Temecula from Salt Lake City In 1999 and was raised in a small Utah town of about 3,000 people. The small town feel of Temecula is one of the things I love most about our valley.

Throughout my career, I have remained involved in the community. Serving and giving to my local community was something I learned as a young girl and I’m grateful to have experienced it as child because it has overflowed into adulthood and helped shape my career and who I am as a person.

You’ll often find me out and about in Temecula, Murrieta and Menifee, attending Chamber of Commerce events, meetings and many local community gatherings. I currently serve as a board member on the Temecula Chamber of Commerce.  I love being where the action is and connecting with our amazing residents and business leaders. Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac supports over 100 charities and youth programs each year and believes in giving back to the community. I love this part of my job because I get to be involved in making a difference in the lives of those around me.

I’m honored to have won numerous awards from General Motors and Paradise throughout my career.

In 2012 I received Paradise’s ‘Making a Difference Award’ honoring my commitment to community projects. In 2017 I was humbled to be recognized and receive the “Joan Sparkman Unity Award”. Recently, I had the incredible honor of being named the 2024 Rotarian of the Year by the Rotary Club of Temecula. It’s a highlight of my career and a true testament to my dedication to our wonderful community.

Music is my love and passion, plus a good cup of coffee.  I do my best to attend every country concert in the valley with my best friend, and our favorite seat is the front row.  We are known to have FUN!  I was recently given a turn table and have had fun listening to my old albums.

My greatest joy comes from my family. I’m a proud mom of four boys and fourteen grandchildren who keep me on my toes and fill my life with endless love and laughter.

Whether you’re interested in purchasing a vehicle or just want to chat about the latest community event, I’m here for you. Stop by Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac anytime—I’m always up for a good conversation and helping however I can!

Today is a Beautiful Day….I choose to Make it so.
