I am honored to be one of the trusted experts for Estate Planning, Trusts, Wills, and Probate here in the Valley. At Shoup Legal, I’m proud to lead a team that’s passionate about understanding each family’s unique needs and helping them create a plan today that brings peace of mind tomorrow.
If you know me, you’ll know that I’m a big planner! I strongly believe that planning for life’s toughest moments, like losing a loved one, is essential for being able to navigate these tough times with grace, confidence, and peace, rather than frantic confusion and uncertainty. Time and again, I’ve seen how preparing in advance reduces stress, prevents heart-breaking family disputes, and maintains control of family assets. Losing a loved one is hard enough without having to deal with unnecessary legal complications.
My career began as a Deputy District Attorney in San Diego, where, as a felony trial attorney, I was dedicated to ensuring that justice was served. I’ve carried that same commitment into my private practice here in the Valley, where I combine knowledge, straightforward advice, and compassion to help families protect their legacies through comprehensive Estate Planning.
In 2012, my husband and I moved to Murrieta, which has become our beloved home. The Valley has been an incredible place to raise our four children and build lasting personal and professional connections.
Business Philosophy
I founded Shoup Legal because I believe visiting a law firm should be reassuring, not intimidating. I want everyone my team meets with to feel comfortable and at ease. My goal is to make navigating the legal system clear and straightforward, avoiding unnecessary legalese and added confusion.
As a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law, I help families through the complexities of preparing for or dealing with the loss of a loved one. It’s deeply rewarding to help clients manage legal matters efficiently so they can focus on what truly matters— healing after the loss of their loved one.
My approach blends compassion with high professional standards, ensuring my team delivers thoughtful strategies that protect our clients’ interests while providing a supportive experience.
My Passion
I’m committed to making a positive difference through Estate Planning and Probate Law by offering personalized, clear guidance.
As Warren Buffett once said, “Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone decided to plant a tree a long time ago.” By planning thoughtfully today, families can be empowered knowing things are taken care of for the future.

My affiliations include the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association, a Board Member of the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce, the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking International, and the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform. Educational Background & Career Highlights
I earned a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo in 2002 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Western School of Law in 2006, where I served as Editor-in-Chief of the California Western Law Review. During law school, I externed for the Honorable Irma E. Gonzales (Ret.). Since founding Shoup Legal in 2012, I have become a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law.
My Favorite Hobby
Hiking is one of my favorite things to do with my family. There is something so rewarding about reaching the end of a long hike and looking back on what you accomplished. Growing up my family often camped in Yosemite, and we hiked Half Dome several times. I can’t wait to carry on this family tradition with my children soon!
