Executive Profile
Lisa Locke has lived in Temecula for 25 years. I have watched the growth of our area over the years and seen the amazing transformation. We are a sought after destination with a variety of amenities and attractions. It’s very exciting to see the maturity of our community in that regard as well as one with a strong sense of community and involvement. Living in Temecula was a goal for my husband and I 25 years ago and we are still proud to have our feet firmly planted here.
MENTORS:
My parents were my early mentors teaching me the value of a good work ethic and that if I wanted something, to get out there and make it happen. In business, I have had two mentors over the years – Bob Hamilton who taught me to trust my instincts and for nearly 20 years now, Pete Olhasso who gave me amazing opportunities while at the same time teaching me the important lesson of life/work balance. They have all made a big impact on my life and made me who I am today.
FAVORITE READING:
I enjoy suspense novels and southern fiction. Two of my favorites are A Painted House by John Grisham and the Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.
AFFILIATIONS:
Community Association Institute (CAI) , Building Industry Association (BIA), Temecula Chamber of Commerce, Temecula Noon Rotary Club (Military Committee Co-Chair, Vice President), Michelle’s Place, Komen Race for the Cure Expo Chair, and Board Member WAVES – Wounded American Veterans Experiencing Scuba.
BIRTHPLACE:
Shreveport, Louisiana. Raised in the south and moved to California in 1984.
GOALS:
To travel and enjoy time with my husband, children and grandchild. I plan on living life to the fullest and giving back to the community where I’ve raised my family.
FAVORITE SPORT:
I’m not a huge sports fan, but I do enjoy watching basketball and football when I get a chance and hiking – connecting with the outdoors.

BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY:
I believe in hard work and a positive attitude. Give it everything you’ve got and leave nothing on the table. When this happens, opportunities are limited only by the hours in the day.
As legendary Coach, John Wooden stated, “Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.”
