We are beginning a new series of articles that we hope will interest you and maybe clear away some of the confusion that almost everyone feels when faced with getting financing nowadays. In this first one, let me introduce myself and The Mortgage House. We have several offices throughout California, and I cover the Riverside/San Bernardino/San Diego Counties as well as many other areas in the state.
Our company was founded on the basic principle of putting customers first. And we do just that, not only in words, but in action – by offering an extensive selection of loan programs designed to meet the unique requirements of almost any borrower, listening to each person and offering individual solutions. If it is a loan to purchase a home, refinance one to four units to get a lower rate or consolidate debts, or even a reverse mortgage for seniors, we are the experts. Mortgage lending is all we do; we are not interrupted by any other activities, and we outsource nothing.
I am proud to be one of the most experienced mortgage bankers in the business. I began working part-time while still in high school and never let it go. Mortgage banking enthralled me and I proceeded to move from processor to funder to branch manager to regional manager and in various jobs that covered loan origination, underwriting approval, documentation, insuring and servicing, the whole gamut.
After a successful period in Fallbrook, I moved to Temecula in 1991 and opened a branch office, offering FHA, VA, Conventional Conforming and Jumbo programs, and soon added Reverse Mortgages. I was in the first group of Underwriters approved by FHA/VA when the agencies moved approvals out into lenders’ offices, assisted in authoring an FHA/VA Financing Workbook for Realtors, and quickly became licensed under the new 2012 lending rules. It is an honor to assist in your understanding of the Mortgage World.
