Coworking Connection – Not Just an Office, A Community

by Regina Fell

This tagline for Coworking Connection aptly describes the services offered by this new company, and relatively new framework, expanding throughout cities across the globe. Coworking Connection has grown by leaps and bounds in the past ten years, but is usually relegated to big cities. This is it is   changing the rules.

What Dione Moser, owner and operator of Coworking Connection in Murrieta has done, is open up this market in our valley to cater to those that are used to commuting to the larger cities in San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties. “The amount of people that commute out of our towns on a daily basis is amazing,” said Moser. And she is right. The average commute time for a Temecula or Murrieta resident is 38 minutes, which is 27% higher than the national average. “With all this commuting, there is little time for the things that really matter, like family,” stated Moser. By keeping these employees in town, near their homes, it not only saves them money and time, it keeps money in our community instead of spreading it over three or more counties.

Coworking Connection provides open desk space, offices, conference rooms and event space for individuals and groups, which are available to rent hourly, daily and monthly. With so many people starting thriving home businesses, a place to hold client meetings is getting more difficult. This place certainly gets the job done without having to meet at a local coffee shop. The space is very professional and often peaceful, though it also allows and encourages people to meet and talk about their different interests.

Coworking has become a community. With so many different members, from marketing to software development to medical research, there is someone in every market, and it becomes not only a place to bounce ideas off of each other, it causes some serious networking. Christine Chappell, of eMedia Insiders, one of the permanent residents at Coworking, describes her experiences. “Having our office inside Coworking Connection has been a true blessing to our business. Every day we meet new people who come in for various events or meetings, and because of our location, they are introduced to our brand and our service offering. More importantly, we are able to create new relationships with the hard working business people in our community, which really makes what we do all the more fun.”

It’s not about how much you are spending for a space like this, it’s how much you could be producing in a space like this.
