Southwest Healthcare System, which operates Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar and Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta, announced that it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification. The Gold Seal of Approval mark represents a symbol of quality from the Joint Commission.
Southwest Healthcare System – Inland Valley Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center underwent an onsite review on September 21 and 22, 2015. A Joint Commission expert evaluated adherence to stroke-related standards and requirements, including program management, the delivery of clinical care and performance improvement.
The certification process is designed to help organizations continuously improve in the provision of safe, high-quality care, treatment, and services for stroke patients. Achieving Advance Primary Stroke Center certification demonstrates Southwest Healthcare System’s commitment to the stroke patient, elevating the standard of care to a higher level for our communities.
