When you hear the words “Made in Temecula,” what comes to mind? You might be surprised to learn that products made right here in our City range from advanced hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to pet health and wellness products.
October is Manufacturing Month—a time to recognize the companies, products, and people behind this important part of our economy. Temecula’s manufacturing base continues to grow, increasing from 234 manufacturing establishments in 2019 to 324 in the latest data—an increase of approximately 38 percent.
Each year, the City produces a Made in Temecula video to showcase local manufacturers and give the community a behind-the-scenes look at what they make, the people who make it, and the innovation happening right here in Temecula. This year’s video features two very different companies: Symbio North America and NaturVet.
Symbio North America operates from a 32,000-square-foot facility in Temecula’s Mountain View Business Park. This company is helping advance clean transportation through hydrogen fuel cell technology and zero-emission commercial vehicles. Its Temecula operation includes vehicle conversion and fabrication, demonstrating the advanced technology taking place locally.
NaturVet, a member of the Swedencare family, produces pet health and wellness products from its Temecula facilities. The company offers more than 650 products and produces approximately one million finished units each month. With more than 160,000 square feet of operations and approximately 180 employees, NaturVet demonstrates another side of Temecula’s diverse manufacturing industry.
Symbio and NaturVet join other local companies featured in previous “Made in Temecula” videos, creating a growing collection that showcases the diversity of manufacturing in our City.
